Learning to Walk by Faith is an account of a lifelong faith developmental journey that has as its sole purpose, bearing testimony to the trustworthiness of God. It describes how God uses the people and circumstances in our lives to first mold us into the person He intends us to be. Then it tells how He leads us on a progressive journey and also provides what we need to be faithful to His call on our lives.

The book gives evidence of what happens when we learn to trust and obey. The stories included are demonstrations of the book’s theme, intended to encourage readers to reflect on God’s call on their lives. It also spurs serious contemplation on what might be accomplished if we truly trust God and step out in faith. It is intended to challenge the reader to a life of full surrender.

This book also provides many significant perspectives on ministering to people in need. It references many who have learned the lessons of our walk-by-faith theme and who add to our understanding of what the theme looks like in everyday life. Its message is as appropriate to someone who is newly exploring a faith journey as to the seasoned veteran looking for encouragement along the way.
