Shadows of the Past by Julie Ann Keady
When all are sound asleep in the dead of night, Evil roams the halls and visits the bedroom. Sometimes, he leaves a gift or simply sits and watches Clara sleep. The scuffs of soft footsteps and groans of closing doors go unheard in her impaired ears. But something always lingers.
Clara’s nightmares continue to haunt her until a startling discovery. Evil is real! It was never her overactive imagination.
Evil has always been close by, closer than she’s ever realized. As secrets from the past slowly surface, she faces new challenges and a new understanding of what Evil is after.
A psychological thriller, Shadows of the Past is book two of the Small Town Secrets Trilogy, a continuation of Clara’s story about a young mother trying to put her life together after returning home to her small town.
