I was born in 1992, explicitly raised in Florida, self-labeled as an old soul, a lesbian, and formerly disabled. That is me now, but not always.

I was driven to write at a young age after a member of my stepfamily passed away. Being the only kind and loving person in the entire family affected me so hard that I fought six years of depression. My only solace was a mother figure who didn’t want her children, a father who was arrested, and abusive behaviors at home had been a positive life I saw in my aunt. With her gone, I could only do one thing. Learn to be like her. Learn to turn my negativity into something positive. Learn to help others.

The only way I know was and is to write and be there for anyone I know or ever knew. Now I would like to expand that to be there for anyone suffering or trying to overcome their past. Wisdom comes at a cost, but once paid, it need not be a burden.
